Associates” – a partnership firm decided to set up a Health Care Establishment & Research Centre at Jorhat city under the name & style of “City Orthopaedic Hospital & Research Centre” to render specialized services to the trauma & orthopaedic patients in the region of middle Assam and in the neighbouring state-Nagaland. With the increased rate of Road Traffic Accident and industrial accident, Trauma patients are rapidly increasing. Due to lack of facilities in this region, patients are to be referred to far away places like Guwahati or Dibrugarh and many patients end their lives during transportation due to lack of timely proper intervention.
