The success and popularity of any product is depends upon its packing also. The success and popularity of Polyurethane sealant, Silicone Sealant and highly viscous single and double component adhesives (use for wind screen bonding, glass and mirror bonding etc.), is its packing in plastic or metal cartridges. The packing is easy to use or user friendly. We can apply sealant or adhesive in control manner and in any direction. The application is neat and clean with minimum wastage. In India most of the above said adhesive and sealant is imported and if it is manufactured and packed in India majority of plastic cartridges are imported. The reason of imported empty plastic cartridges is only 2 to 3 plastic cartridge manufacturer and quality is not as good as imported cartridges. The rejection rate is very high. The bottle neck to produce quality plastic cartridge in India is highly technical and very expensive mold for plastic injection molding machine. In India we are still depend up on other countries to make these molds. We in ALUNIKA India have an idea to have an alternating packing, which is technically better than plastic cartridges. It is easy to make in India. All machines and cartridge components and made in India. The body of the cartridge is made up of flexible laminated material. The top of the cartridge is hard plastic. The bottom of the cartridge is sealed with laminated material. The advantage of the cartridge is • It is collapsible. After the use, it will take 15 to 20 time less space than empty plastic cartridge. • The bottom of the cartridge is sealed. No air/moisture can penetrate into the cartridge. No rejection of material due to poor packing material. • 30-35% cheaper than plastic cartridge.
