AN HESTIA
Bengaluru, Karnataka
In their own words
We came up with a patented geopolymer technology to utilize this potential waste. The logic behind this approach is that most construction systems require graded size sand for obtaining strength. We discovered that geopolymer technology tolerates uniformly sized particles in the mix and hence suitable for utilization of the 300 micron-sized m-sand slurry. We could make conventional paver blocks, solid blocks, and lightweight blocks using M-sand slurry and our invention offers comparable strength as Cementous material with a potential environmental waste. We propose to convert construction debris and quarry dust to paver blocks, wherein we utilize about 1-2kg per paver block of m sand slurry and 3 kg per paver block of construction debris.
