The company has developed technology based on gasification principle for converting bio resources (C-H-O complex) like woody biomass, agricultural residue, segregated municipal waste etc into a mixture of gases containing Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Methane as combustibles and Nitrogen/Carbon dioxide as incombustibles. One variant of the technology generates a low calorific value gas (~ 5 MJ/kg) that can predominantly be used for electricity and heat generation through the engine/turbine/burner route while the other variant of the technology using steam and oxygen as co reactants produces high calorific value Hydrogen rich gaseous mixture (~ 11 MJ/kg). The Hydrogen rich gas can be used for synthesis of downstream value added chemicals like Hydroge, Methanol, Ethanol, Ammonia, Sustainable Aviation Fuel etc or can be used for generation of thermal and electrical energy. Since the gas is being generated from bio resources, the end product is inherently a zero/low carbon energy or product and contributes towards the net zero goals through decarbonization. Coupled with another inhouse gas separation technology, Carbon dioxide can be separated from the gas and or captured Carbon dioxide from other resources can be used as a feed in the gasification system for carbon fixation resulting in carbon negative energy resource / products. As such, the complete package enables explicit and implicit carbon fixation. Both the technology routes have very high net energy ratio for both energy and end products route making the system and the process economical. The developed technology while playing a key environmental role also plays an inherent societal role providing value addition to the agro residue and resulting in improvement in farm income and by consuming the degradable portion of the municipal waste. The developed technology can deployed at a range of scales starting from as low as 10 kgph of bio resource consumption to 5000 kgph and multiples as modular units.
