CHAITANYA MALHAR CRUMBS AND RECLAIM PRIVATE LIMITED
Pune, Maharashtra
In their own words
CMCRPL has identified the tens of millions of tyres that used to get discarded across the country every year. Disposal of waste tyres is a challenging task because tyres have a long life and are non-biodegradable. As the waste tyre amount is generated higher and higher, the waste tyre pollution is also becoming heavier and heavier. So, it's very urgent and important for the world to find a way how to dispose the waste tyres, thus, to prevent or reduce the pollution caused by waste tyres. India’s waste tyres account for about 6-7% of the global total. With the local tyre industry growing at 12% per annum, waste volumes are rising. India has been recycling and reusing waste tyres for four decades, although it is estimated that 60% are disposed of through illegal dumping. In view of this current situation, Chaitanya Malhar Crumbs & Reclaim (P) Ltd. (CMCRPL), has adopted the the application of a recycled tyre as a practical and ecological solution, which not only helps the environmental balance but also supplies some needs within the industrial, sports, decorative, animal and urban sectors called Crumbs. Specifically, the crumb rubber which can be used in an endless number of applications, these crumbs are elastomeric compounds with a great variety of advantages to be offered in the different sectors without generating secondary pollution to the environment. When tyres from cars, trucks, and other vehicles are worn out, damaged, or replaced, tyres are recycled and can be used again for construction, new rubber products, or infill (filling) material in playgrounds and sports surfacing. In playgrounds and synthetic turf fields, tire crumb rubber provides cushioning and firmness to the surface. The applications of Green Crumb Rubber and much more we can use them only after passing the tyres out of use by a crushing process part of an innovative system of tyre recycling using the ECO Green Equipment tyre shredders which is the best option in the industry of tyre recycling. Asia Pacific has become the hub of the automotive industry over the last few years. Increase in demand for automobiles in emerging countries such as China and India is driving the automobile industry, thereby boosting the crumb rubber market. Strong government support and ad-hoc tax incentives have led to robust double-digit sales growth, typically in the automotive industry in China. Rise in demand for small and fuel-efficient passenger vehicles in countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, India and Indonesia is also anticipated to propel the automobile sector in these countries. This, in turn, is projected to boost the crumb rubber market in Asia Pacific. Thus, the product which was considered waste in the beginning is transformed into commercial products at the end by CMCRPL. This is how the present waste management is taken care of which is not just recycling of waste, but it is known as Upcycling.
