Edible Routes finds ways for people to grow food and eat seasonally. We are an earth and people friendly business that provides step-by-step guidance on how to efficiently design, plan, build and manage organic edible landscapes and home gardens, and create products to nurture the earth. We find ways for people to grow locally and eat seasonally. All you need is a little space and a commitment to the soil. We love the earth and love converting barren and underused land into healthy, productive food forests. We work hand in hand with nature to maximize the use of soil, water, sunlight, wind and other local energy flows. Our design strategies minimize environmental impact and ensure that existing natural systems are safeguarded and resources used most efficiently. Thus, our aim is to create regenerative and diverse ecosystems that also provide food for your body and soul. Edible Routes reaches a wide set of urban consumers from individuals to institutions through our four core businesses - Knowledge and Learning programs, Consultancy: Kitchen Gardens & Land Projects, Farmlets, and Organic produce & garden items store. Engaging in these varied areas has enabled us to be present in every phase of an individual transitioning into a conscious food grower and consumer. Service Offerings: 1) Consultancy: Kitchen Gardens - Planning, designing and creating home kitchen gardens on rooftops, balconies, backyards and front yards for individuals and families to grow herbs, greens, fruits & vegetables. We also work on vacant plots, empty spaces in schools & offices, community spaces, and other confined spaces. 2) Consultancy: Land Projects - We provide expert planning, designing ,implementation, maintenance & training services for large plots 3) Knowledge and Learning - Interactive workshops, talks & webinars held regularly on urban farming, composting, plant care, permaculture, and other sustainability-related topics. Conduct programs for schools, corporates and communities to re-connect to the land 4) Farmlets - Farmlets are mini-farms within a larger farm allotted to city dwellers within an hour's reach from their homes 5) Organic Food and Gardening Store - In order to make a family's complete food basket conscious & available, we have partnered with our client farms & other natural & organic food producers across India to make available handcrafted food and seasonal fresh produce.
