EzeRx Health Tech Pvt Ltd, biomedical startup company from West Bengal. We developed a non-invasive non-contact portable hand-held device for accurate measurement of bilirubin level, hemoglobin concentration and oxygen saturation. Problem we are addressing: Anemia detection which affect 96% of children, 98% of adolescent girls and around 96% of pregnant women In India. Bilirubin level measurement which can indicate several forms of liver disease including Jaundice, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, liver cancer, yellowing of the skin and specially in neonatal bilirubinemia. Diagnosis of oxygen saturation which can identify respiratory diseases like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Tuberculosis, Asthma, Brain hypoxia and asphyxia. Solution proposed: The proposed device collects the spectroscopic signal of the blood from the human conjunctiva. We choose the conjunctiva of human eyes as the target organ to estimate the hemoglobin, bilirubin, oxygen concentration as it is easily accessible, hosts well-oxygenated blood containing a high-density vascular bed and has high vascular visibility with a white background in all human subjects. Differentiator: Direct measurements from single device with high precision and accuracy with turn over time 0.5-1 sec and without pathological interference. The noninvasive and non-contact nature of the device, which is essential for use in neonates and virus-infected maternal subjects. Affordable and easily accessible solution with almost zero maintenance costs. Operable by minimally trained or nearly untrained healthcare workers. Online monitoring and instantaneous report generation and transmitted to a medical expert through e-mail, text messaging, or mobile apps.
