Our product is 100% made in India and all manufacturing is done locally. It is one of the top 5 innovations selected under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti for promotion at national level to ensure drinking water safety. The innovation has very high potential of generating employment, because of bulk demand in all the states of India, under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The manufacturing process is a scalable business model, in which customized manufacturing of all components can be done at one place. These can then be transported to different states at the company supply and technical service locations, where they can be assembled and installed. Thus, in India alone several hundred people can be employed and trained in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of such plants. Training to plumbers and certification regarding maintenance and repair of the plant can generate additional income for them and also to newly trained persons. Another aspect of employment generation is the regular supply of liquid sodium hypochlorite to the consumption centers i.e. water distribution and supply centers. Thus, our start-up is creating new opportunities of employment in areas of product improvement relating to drinking water supply and disinfection (R&D), Manufacturing and Production and also distribution, sales, supply, installation and maintenance. Supply chain management is another area where we are generating considerable employment because we are sourcing components from local vendors, from all over India
