Non-immunization or lack of vaccination is a prevalent problem in India. A child in India is 4 times more likely NOT to receive basic immunization as compared to a child in China or Bangladesh, 8 times more likely than Sri Lanka or Thailand according to WHO data. There are many factors contributing to this problem like busy lifestyles of parents, ignorance about the importance of vaccines, absence of convenient vaccination centers etc.We plan to solve this problem through our app Kid-Kare wherein we will send notification to the parents for upcoming vaccination of their child and provide them with the knowledge of proper vaccination center nearby. We also plan to give them option to book an appointment beforehand as well as on-site vaccination at their home.
