NanoTherapX Innovations Private Limited is a deep-tech biotech spin-out from IIT Bombay on a mission to revolutionize topical skin care with plant-based nanotechnology. Our flagship product, PhytoNanogel Shield (PsoriCare), is a patented, non-steroidal hydrogel engineered to treat mild to moderate psoriasis safely, effectively, and affordably eliminating the risks of corticosteroids or the expense of biologics. At its core, PhytoNanogel Shield uses eugenol, a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles for superior skin penetration and sustained bioavailability. These nanoparticles are uniformly dispersed in a biocompatible, solvent-free hydrogel matrix that releases the active compound over longer period. Patients no longer need daily applications, dramatically reducing treatment fatigue and adherence issues. All ingredients are FDA approved and plant derived, ensuring no skin thinning, immune suppression, or irritation even with repeated use. Economically, our streamlined manufacturing cuts unit costs to roughly INR 20 per tube versus INR 200–500 for conventional steroid creams making advanced psoriasis care accessible to underserved communities. Beyond psoriasis, we plan to extend this platform to eczema, vitiligo, and diabetic wound healing by swapping in targeted phytochemicals. Backed by Indian Patent No. 533382, ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science publication, and 2025 Prix Galien and CAS Future Leaders nominations, NanoTherapX is democratizing safe, side-effect free nanomedicines for chronic skin diseases in India and beyond.
