Plant X Crop was founded in 2023 on the core values of Science, Innovation, and Trust. We are a team of four agricultural graduates focused on developing high-quality, research-driven biological solutions for sustainable agriculture. Our aim is to deliver reliable biological products for farmers while serving as a dependable upstream supply partner that simplifies microbial production for biological industries. The biological crop protection sector is expanding rapidly, with many companies entering the market. However, unlike chemical products, biologicals require specialized microbial production systems, controlled environments, and technical expertise to maintain consistent quality. As a result, many companies face challenges in producing reliable microbial inputs at scale. In India, around 970 biopesticide products are registered under CIBRC, of which approximately 350 are based on Trichoderma. Despite this demand, there are very few suppliers capable of producing high-quality fungal technical concentrates suitable for advanced formulations such as OD, WP, and SP. Plant X Crop addresses this gap through a scalable fungal concentrate production technology based on optimized solid-state fermentation (SSF) combined with an integrated substrate drying and spore harvesting system. This enables consistent production of high-concentration fungal technicals for downstream formulations. By strengthening upstream microbial production infrastructure, we aim to support biological industries with reliable, scalable inputs and help deliver consistent biological solutions to farmers.
