Proton Enviro Pvt. Ltd., a company founded in 2012, is a young, dynamic yet pragmatic enterprise active in the solid waste management space. Proton Enviro was started with a vision of revolutionizing the waste industry in India through providing professional, state-of-the art solutions for integrated solid waste management with a commitment towards excellence. Within few years since its inception, Proton Enviro has earned an enviable reputation in the waste management space and is currently one of the fastest growing enterprises on the Indian business horizon. To respond to the challenges of the 21st century, we strongly focus on responsible waste management through developing and improving our working methods to ensure that the waste produced has minimal environmental impact. Our expertise in waste management and recycling means we can design a cost effective scheme to maximize recycling opportunities, reduce landfill use through treatment of biodegradable waste and ultimately save money. We believe that waste is a ‘misplace’ resource. Resource recovery at lowest cost with minimal processing is our ultimate aim. With the vision to fulfill our aim, we already have four waste management projects under execution particularly in North - east India. What We Do Proton Enviro has closely been working with municipalities across India to develop a more effective solid and liquid waste management system at an urban and rural level with strong focus on improving collection efficiency, effective waste transportation and maximal waste diversion. 1. Urban Waste Management Agartala, Tripura Proton Enviro has set up the first 250 TPD processing plant in Agartala, Tripura. The main aim of the project is to divert atleast 80 % of the waste to processing plant with only remaining 20% reaching the landfill. Windrow Composting is used to treat the waste with main output being high quality compost. Valuable by products such as plastic granuels, recyclables and eco bricks are also recovered during the process. 2. Rural /Small Township Waste Management Unakoti/ Ambassa/Kamalpur, Tripura Proton Enviro is the only company to develop a cost effective sustainable model for rural India. The model is based on an integrated solid waste management approach wherein Proton Enviro takes care of the collection and transport and processing of waste alongside implementation of a training and awareness program. We are in similar discussions with private townships in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu municipalities for replicating the Tripura model. 3. Wastewater and Rural Sanitation Apart from Solid Waste Proton Enviro is also focusing on wastewater treatment and supply of toilets in rural India. We have tied up with global best technologies for the wastewater treatment projects. 4. Industrial Waste Consider Proton Enviro as your one-stop source for all your industrial and hazardous waste services. We have the equipment, facilities and expertise to help you develop waste management, recycling programs, and implement proven waste minimization schemes that exemplify the best in safety, performance and cost reduction. 5. Bioremediation Bioremediation is the process by which a contaminated area can be made usable using natural alternatives. It is an innovative, simple, low-tech, low-cost, quick and eco-friendly method of remediating old open waste dumps to permanently achieve near-zero emission of landfill gases and leachate and eliminate waste to reclaim our most scarce resource, land. Proton Enviro is currently in the process of tying up with global experts in this space to carry out bioremediation feasibility studies and pilot projects in New Delhi, Mumbai and Agartala. 6. Consulting Our team led by approachable partners in these firms, use insights, experience and instinct to understand complex issues unlock their full potential by providing meaningful, forward looking advice to match the pace of change in their chosen markets.
