This is a Pioneer project to develop Organic Certified Integrated Aquaculture Project first time in India. This has a concept of producing Shrimps that can be certified as Organic and adopt the sustainable farming methods to safeguard the product quality and meet the consumer expectations locally and globally. Setting up an enterprise end-to-end i.e. from production of Hatchery Seed, Feed, Grow out, Processing, Retailing, etc. This project is proposed to be set up at Kasinagar, Dist. Gjapathi, which is a remote place in the State of Odisha. This project will implement innovative nature friendly technologies viz Bioflock, Aquaphonics and Re-circulative Aquaculture Systems. This project will also generate a direct employment of about 100 persons and 400 indirect employment in a phased manner and provide awareness about this technologies with the local fisheries students and entrepreneurs. Consumers will get good quality, safe and consistent supply. This project is Approved by National Fisheries Development Board along with financial assistance.
