Special purpose vehicle in the form of Mobile Petrol Pump is our innovation that has the potential to make a paradigm shift in the retail fuel distribution in India. The mobile petrol pump has all the essential features of a stationary petrol pump but it comes with the added benefit of mobility and hence it can travel to the location of consumers to dispense fuel. This comes as a huge relief to the bulk consumers of diesel in India as these consumers struggle a lot in procurement of diesel. Consumers that have a large demand for fuel are left with no option but to procure it themselves physically from retail fuel stations. For this they have to spend money in arranging for logistics and manpower. On top of that this process is mired with a number of losses such as pilferages, spillages and also dead mileages. But with a mobile petrol pump they won't have to go through this ordeal anymore. After placing an order for doorstep delivery of diesel, a mobile petrol pump can now reach to the desired location of the customer and deliver fuel. This not only saves the consumer's money and time but also facilitates a lot of convenience. This model is enormously scalable because there is an integration of mobile application with the mobile petrol pump which can accommodate a huge number of customers and more mobile petrol pumps can be put on the ground to cater to the needs of multiple customers. Hence this idea is extremely scalable and effective.
