About the Sonanchal Aroma Pvt Ltd & Related Product Sonanchal Aroma Private Ltd. is a Social Enterprise and works with farmers' Swalamban activity through a cluster-based verity of aromatic plant cultivation and aromatic oil production. Increase the income of farmers through aromatic plant cultivation. Aim to provide quality life to farmers and Provide quality & Organic aromatic oil produces to Buyers. Our idea is to double the income of farmers from aromatic plant cultivation such as palmarosa, lemongrass, and Vetiver. The farmer cultivates alone and due to which the cost of the farmer is high and he is always at a loss if his income can be increased by adding the farmers in the cluster and cultivating the aromatic plant. In 2018, I made a good profit by cultivating Lemon Grass on 10 acres. On the basis of my experience, I made it a business model and gave it the form of a cluster model, in which 160 farmers have joined. The main thing to come into this business was that our district is being a Sonbhadra dry area and due to lack of irrigation, farmers not doing farming in their land and more land area no cultivated and if the farmer planted some crops. So due to the wild animals and the weather, the crop suffers a lot of damage. Seeing the same problem, I first started aromatic farming on my land. The aromatic crop is a multi-year crop; it gives benefits for five years from one time planting only one-time cultivation that helps the farmer’s increases the income of the farmer. Due to no repeated farming, the cost of farming of the farmers is saved and their income increases continuously. This crop prevents soil erosion in the hilly areas and makes the soil fertile, as well as vetiver, absorbs the amount of carbon from the atmosphere and makes a big contribution in keeping the environment clear, as well as planting fields and crops. Vetiver can be saved from animals. Through value addition, we can do much innovation from this crop and farmers will surely profit from aromatic cultivation. This idea will increase the income of the farmers and get them out of the deficit and will contribute significantly to improving their standard of living.
