Tangentup Labs Private limited is building a product called Piiko. Piiko is a table top, fully automated multi body fluid test analyser that can execute a 3-part CBC and biochemical assays in one machine; these cover more than 90% of the most common tests in a local lab. Piiko is an order of magnitude cheaper to buy and rent and only requires one set of consumables per test thereby eliminating reagent wastage. Piiko has an automated sample preparation stack that executes different protocols as per the test type; thereby eliminating manual sample preparation.
