In their own words
"Wentainer" is an inland transportation system that can move goods at very low cost, without any direct or indirect pollutions. WORKING: 3 rails are laid in a specially constructed canal. On the rail above this, the engine unit forces the boats to move forward. The other 2 rails allow the boats to navigate the correct route. The energy required for the system is obtained from solar panels, which are installed very profitably on the top of the rail path. Smaller boats, each carrying one container, are used to move the cargo. Accommodation can be arranged above the rail path, and water can be transferred through the path. EXISTING PROBLEMS IN FREIGHT MOVING : Freight is currently routed across the country by road, rail and inland waterways. Freight moving rates on these modes of transport are also rising due to rising fuel and labor costs. Not only does it make people's lives more difficult, but it also hinders the progress of the country. Imports of fossil fuels also affect the country's progress. Similarly, high levels of pollution are another major problem in cargo movement. Fossil fuels cause massive 'direct' pollution. Vehicles that run on electricity 'indirectly' cause a lot of pollution (because electricity is generated by burning things like coal). The railroad takes up less space than the road and inland waterways to build new tracks for cargo movement. But having to relocate more space to a 'buffer zone' is a drawback. Another disadvantage is that the road, rail, inland waterways cannot be used for purposes other than transportation. SOLUTIONS OF THE WENTAINER SYSTEM : Using fossil fuels, it costs more than Rs 20 to produce one unit of power. However, it costs less than Rs 2 to produce one unit of power using solar panels. Power Wentainer systems receive the same rate for 25-30 years depending on the duration of the solar panels. An auto-switching system can also greatly reduce the cost of labor. The solar powered Wentainer system does not cause any direct or indirect pollution. The Wentainer system can also be constructed using the space required to build the railway. However, a very secure Wentainer system can bypass the 'buffer zone'. The path can be used not only for transportation purposes but also for energy generation, accommodation and water transfer.
