Thozhuvam FPCL was Launched on 31 May 2021 with the assistance of NABARD-MABIF. Thozhuvam FPCL is Integrated with more than 600 Cowherds, Sheep shepherds, and Buffalo shepherds. They are doing traditional grazing system in agri lands and non-agri lands. Efforts are being made to preserve the traditional livestock of the country, to adopt the subsistence lifestyle of the herdsmen and thereby to do subsistence farming, thereby creating markets for value added products with the available dung and milk and to create new employment opportunities. We are creating awareness among the organic farming farmers about the 'manure' obtained from the waste of cattle and goats reared following the traditional grazing system and its benefits. We are engaging pastoral community women in the production of value added products (patti, vibhuthi, sambrani, lamp, insecticide, eruvati, toshavuram) from available cow dung.
