TRANZITOR What We Do? Tranzitor is a group of enthusiastic engineers and managers with aim to make tech intervention in light commercial electric vehicle powertrain design and development. We believe that electric mobility is a solution which will be affordable as well as environment friendly. Majority of goods transportation within city is currently being done through hefty polluting diesel based vehicles. Tranzitor wants to address problem of these fleets which are going through problem of shrinking margins and stringent emission laws. Our product is targeted to serve the light commercial vehicles. It is a compact power train powered by a 3 phase AC Induction motor specifically designed to carry heavy loads with better pickup which will help the customers to swiftly navigate through the traffic. This also eliminates one of the major constraint of limited speed prevalent in most of the E-vehicles which are already in the market. The currently available electric vehicles have limited speed, lesser load carrying capacity and less battery life. We have addressed all three problems in our product which has a top speed of 60 kmph, a load carrying capacity of 1.5 ton and a battery life of over 5 years. With stricter norms on emission, Rising conventional fuel prices and high operating costs, there is a need to switch on vehicles that run on alternative fuel. Tranzitor is focussed on developing pure electric powertrain which are simple and cost effective. Such powertrain will acts as a new heart and mind for vehicles and can be used in new as well as old vehicles. We are currently working with several fleet managers / operators operating light commercial vehicle fleets in both private and government segments to better understand their problems. These problems can be broadly categorised as follow: 1) Less Efficient Engines 2) High Operating Cost 3) Fluctuating Fuel Prices 4) Strict Emission Norms 5) Lack of connectivity With engineering at its heart - Tranzitor is committed to develop indigenous solution that is both technologically advance and affordable.
