Road Transport is one of the basic, essential and significant infrastructure requirement in Indian Supply chain. But it is highly unorganized and fleet owners fragmented with minimum literacy level. 80% of the market is dominated by truckers who have fleet of less than 5 trucks. Competition from unorganized sector has forced the industry to sustain on very thin margin. At the same time, competition from MNC with huge muscle power is giving an altogether different challenge to Indian Truckers to grow big. Our idea is to provide solutions to those truckers, to gear up to face the challenges of competition, for brighter and better future. When the whole trade in moving towards digitization in terms of Toll, Permit, Payments, Buy and Sell, the fleet owners and drivers community are losing their hope and they feel it is very difficult to compete. On the other hand, the customers / the corporates, who are all new generation managers, their expectations of services were far different from the classical way of doing transport operations. There is a huge gap between what customer needs and what fleet owners provides. Those gaps were currently filled by large scale player like MNC, Logistics STARTUPS with technology like Vehicle Intend, vehicle placement details, Live Tracking, E-POD, E-invoicing, Payment portals, Dashboards, Analytics which individual fleet owners couldn’t offer. This providing the large scale players like MNC, Logistics Startups to capture the market by providing the technology and least freight rate to customers. It may also leads to Monopoly and shatter our economy. If this gap is filled with educating those fleet owner community, with right technology for their operations using AI, ML, would benefit them and their family a lot and it would be life changer.
