Objectives: To Build a versatile Farm machine for complete farming mechanization catering, inter-row cultivation, land preparation, crop care, fertigation, pesticide spray, harvesting, post-processing catering complete value chain. Problem statement : Present tractors are used 80% of the time for haulage and 20% of the time for land preparation, are heavier in weight, not having adequate ground clearance and row width adjustment. ●Crop row spacing depends on water, fertility, type of crop, seed, and farming practices, and without adjustable track width is not used for inter-cultivation, Manual, animal drawn, power tillers are low in Acerage Per hour, and high in cost. ●During peak season non-availability of the tractor in time, affects the quality of farming operations. ●Present solutions call for use of bigger and multiple machines (adopted from the west,) not suitable for Indian land holding patterns, and farming practices. ●Small and Marginal Farmers have no affordability of different machines, for crop care, spraying, cultivation, harvesting., and planting. ●Adoptability for automation is limited. ●Conventional power train Engine, transmission, Axle, clutch, and brake has limited flexibility ●Challenges in headland management maneuverability. Product/ Solution -Innovation ●DevelopFirst of its kind of tractor that will be able to adjust its height and width, suitable for inter-cultivation, spraying, and fertigation apart from regular tractor functions. ●With a hydraulic lot of flexibility in system architecture low weight, Implement matching, Load distribution, draft, drawbar-pull, CG, Track width, and speed. Wheel slip reduction. ●Technology& Machines designed for Indian farmers, crops, farming practices, and land holding. ●Uniform depth of cut for better seed depth, germination & yield. ●Normally cultivation done by manual (0.01 to 0.02 Ha /hr), animal (0.15 to 0.22 Ha/hr) power tiller (0.18 to 0.22 Ha/hr) Proposed Hydro tractor ( 0.4 to 0.75 Ha/hr) ●High mobility due to 3 Wheel architecture: maneuverability, headland management, ●Independent Hydro PTO suitable for many applications, hydraulic drive for harvesters, and planters. ●Standard ROPS, Operator protection for rollover, dust, chemicals, heat ●Hydro technology has the capability for self-adjustment for optimum productivity and torque based on needs. Resulting in higher field efficiency and lower fuel consumption. ●Accurate spray by height adjustment .and row spacing, and hight adjustment on the go. ●Suitability for the sprayer, cultivator, harvester, Fertigation, Duel implement (front & rear), loader Product/ Solution -Readiness Level Completed identification of burning issues analysis, performance gaps, technical specification, and market. ● Based on QFD, business objectives finalised target specification, architecture, quality, cost, and feasibility. ●Finalised concept, 3D layout, risk analysis, PFMEA, DFMEA, and Product Attribute Requirements ●System Level Design & Analysis, System Requirements, Concepts & feasibility ●3D model, system integration, space claim, concept feasibility, supplier identification • Socio-Economic Impact of the Project Affordable machine for small and marginal farmers providing complete farm mechanisation and value chain integration, with complete solutions for tillage (Inter cultivation) , planter, Sprayers, harvesters, weed control., fertigation, loader, and auger. ●Suitable for Nano fertilizer application reducing wastage, speed can be synchronized with fertilizer application rate for the need-based application. Integrated with NPK map by speed and fertigation rate. ●Reduce crop loss and improve grain production. ●Duringseasonforseeding, harvesting, and spraying all farmer needs cannot be met by custom hiring due to the short periods, Small Integrated machines can support and needs of small and marginal farmers. ●Reduce Human drudgery ●Soil erosion and fertility loss due to heavy tractor, and soil compaction. ●Save the operator from the hazardous chemicals of manual spraying. ●Helps crop diversification and dependency on labor. ●Low fuel consumption and low soil compaction
