2.0 is a solution that addresses the challenges faced by an underserved segment of people with disabilities, limited mobility, and different abilities. Basic tasks like bathing, eating, dressing up, or putting on and removing shoes may seem trivial to us but for them, they present daily challenges along with numerous hurdles that make navigating through life difficult, especially due to less awareness and inaccessibility to products and resources that could help them. 2.0 is a one-stop, user-friendly, assistive marketplace with a vetted seller base, providing access to adaptive products, rehab devices, resources, and information for this segment and aims to empower individuals facing day-to-day challenges due to their disabilities and different abilities and improve their quality of life by revolutionizing the way they experience the world around them. 2.0’s vision is to create an Empathetic Ecosystem by making a community of affected individuals, support groups, and rehab/mental health specialists passionate about improving the lives of such individuals by advocating and volunteering. The inspiration for 2.0 stems from my own personal Caregiving journey, when my husband’s stroke left his Rt side paralyzed with Aphasia. Throughout my 4-year caregiving experience, I encountered various unmet needs in the Indian market. These gaps present opportunities for improvement, with the goal of empowering individuals in similar situations. 2.0’s mission is to enhance the resilience and capabilities of those affected, enabling them to rediscover a new chapter in their lives with both dignity and confidence. Because, in their continued journey, we want them to not just exist, but truly live the 2.0 version of their lives.
