AS International is a partnership firm transforming education across India with hands‑on DIY kits, scientific laboratory equipment, and Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs). Aligned with NEP 2020, we build language and numeracy fluency, support early‑childhood development, and reduce anxiety around challenging concepts. Our focus is to promote a culture of research and development amongst students. Our DIY kits include step‑by‑step guides enabling students and teachers to assemble components, conduct activities and perform experiments solo or in groups. Integrating manipulatives, multimedia aids, vivid demonstrations, and tech‑enabled modules, learners master reading, writing, arithmetic, and scientific ideas. Early‑childhood kits introduce patterns, shapes, and puzzles; advanced kits offer a taste of technology, sparking new concept design and practical innovation. Based on Atkin and Karplus’s research, we employ the 5E Model—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate—to structure learning. Students begin with real‑world prompts that ignite curiosity, explore concepts via DIY experiments, and explain findings with TLM support. They then elaborate by applying ideas to novel challenges and evaluate mastery through reflections and quizzes. This sequence builds confidence, deepens understanding, and fosters scientific thinking. Following Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences theory, our kits address linguistic, logical‑mathematical, spatial, bodily‑kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, and intrapersonal strengths, nurturing a research‑and‑development mindset in every learner. Offering pan‑India customization, we align kit content and complexity with regional curricula and grade levels. Our end‑to‑end service—curriculum mapping, kit production, teacher workshops, and technical support—allows educators to focus on teaching.
