The company has started its commercial production of Filtering Half Masks and Surgical Face Masks under the name and style of AAMR Lifesciences Private Limited at its works located at B-13/5, Block-B, Phase-1, Jhilmil Industrial Area, G.T. Road, Shahdara, Delhi–110095. The company is manufacturing Filtering Half Masks and Surgical Face Masks of different grades and types and conforming to various national and international protocols and/or standards, such as NIOSH N-95, FDA, CE (EU Directive EN-149), IS 9473 and IS 16289. The company will also manufacture customized masks to cater to specific demands and needs of the buyers. The company will focus its sales to target establish Corporations and Institutions, both in public and private sectors, as well as to various Government Ministries and departments, institutions and organizations affiliated with them. The company will also sell its masks through network of retailers and distributors in open market all across India. AAMR Lifesciences Private Limited has an installed annual capacity to manufacture 75,00,000 No. Filtering Half Masks. The company has already been granted / awarded various quality certifications and recognitions / approvals, which are accepted the world-over as an assurance of conformity to the required safety and quality parameters including inter-alia the following :- ISO 9001 - Quality Management System certification ISO 14001 - Environmental Management System certification ISO 45001 - Occupation Health and Safety Management System Certification ISO 13485 - Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Regulatory Purposes CE Mark - Certificate of Compliance for Conformitè Europëenne (CE Mark) US-FDA - Certificate of Compliance WHO-GMP - Certificate for Good Manufacturing Practices as per WHO norms The company has also applied for licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards for use of the Standard (ISI) Mark on Filtering Half Masks as per IS 9473. Going forward, the company also intends to apply for NIOSH certification for N-95 Filtering Half Masks for exports to the US and Canada markets. Inasmuch the past experience of the promoters and enthused by the call of the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India for "Atmnirbhar Bharat", they decided to "Convert Crisis into Opportunity" by tapping into the ready and huge market for Filtering Half Masks and Surgical Face Masks. The Covid-19 pandemic has ensured that going forward, the use of Filtering Half Masks and Surgical Face Masks is going to be a part of a common person's life-style and a necessity. The Government has also decreed that none shall venture out without a proper mask. This has presented an unforeseen, but a huge long-term and sustainable opportunity for entrepreneurs, the world-over, to manufacture and sell quality Filtering Half Masks and Surgical Face Masks. Anticipating a good business opportunity and prospects for future, the promoters have set-up a state-of-the-art fully-automated manufacturing facility at Jhilmil Industrial Area (close proximity to Metro Station), G.T. Road, Shahdara, Delhi to manufacture 75,00,000 No. Filtering Half Masks (with and without valves) and 2,40,00,000 No. Surgical Face Masks per year as per the quality standards specified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Defense Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), for supplying to Govt. Departments, PSUs, Statutory/Autonomous Institutes, Corporate entities in industrial and services sectors, and to retailers through network of C&F Agents and Distributors. Major thrust of the Company is on exports, subject to Govt. policies from time to time. The Company has strong technical expertise and well-experienced human resource to implement the project and manage / run it successfully over long term. The company's management has at least four senior qualified engineers to efficiently and effectively manage its operations. The manufacturing set-up boasts of a fully automatic production unit backed by state-of-the-art R&D and laboratory
