The startup is a pioneering initiative dedicated to preserving Bharat’s rich heritage of medicinal and aromatic plants while creating sustainable commercial opportunities. It addresses the urgent challenge of biodiversity loss, where many species are becoming rare, threatened, or endangered due to overharvesting, habitat destruction, and climate change. At the same time, the herbal, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries face unreliable supplies, quality issues, and overdependence on unsustainable wild harvesting. To bridge this gap, the startup is developing a systemic framework for the domestication, cultivation, and commercialisation of rare and endangered medicinal plants. By creating standardised protocols for propagation, cultivation, and quality planting material production, it ensures authenticity, phytochemical consistency, and large-scale availability. Through partnerships with farmers, industries, and research institutions, the startup will establish sustainable supply chains that integrate biodiversity conservation with livelihood creation. With a unique approach that combines conservation with commerce, the startup not only safeguards ethnomedicinal species but also supports the fast-growing demand in Ayurveda, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, and wellness industries. Its model of traceable, quality-assured raw material production positions it as a catalyst for both environmental sustainability and economic growth.
