Aapanam Global Private Limited designs and manufactures energy-efficient home appliances in India. Our vision is to make energy efficiency the standard in every Indian home - engineering better products at home, fulfilling the country's domestic demand, and exporting world-class appliances from India to the world. The problem we address is large and everyday: most home appliances still run on decades-old induction-motor technology that consumes far more electricity than necessary, raising household bills and adding to the nation's power demand. We re-engineer these everyday appliances around energy-efficient BLDC (brushless DC) motor technology, delivering the same or better performance while drawing substantially less power. We currently manufacture BLDC ceiling fans and BLDC exhaust fans, and are extending the same energy-efficient BLDC platform to other high-consumption appliances such as air coolers and water pumps. Our innovation roadmap pairs this energy efficiency with smart sensors and artificial intelligence to create intelligent, connected home appliances that adapt to how people actually live, turning ordinary devices into smart, self-optimising ones. The impact is twofold: for people, our appliances cut electricity consumption and bills while improving everyday comfort and putting advanced, energy-saving technology within everyone's reach; for the nation, every efficient appliance lowers India's power consumption and carbon footprint, manufacturing them in India reduces dependence on imports, and exporting them earns foreign exchange while carrying Indian engineering to global markets. Our mission is to build an Indian home-appliance company defined by continuous innovation and energy efficiency, improving life at home while strengthening India's energy savings, self-reliance and exports.
