Aapsara Skill Parks Private Limited is proposed to be formed by Miss. Vishnupriya in the year 2023. Having prior experience in this field, Miss.Vishnupriya intends to expand sales and provide exemplary array of Handicraft Goods to customers all over the country. She first began her dream of promoting Kerala centric Handicrafts in her locality through her knowledge and production techniques by starting a Training Institute called Apsara Training Institute for Skill Development and Management. Apsara Training Institute for Skill Development and Management was started as a Self-Development Training Institute in 2009. For the last 13 years, we have been imparting Quality training to Rural/ Urban men and women. We have also given job placements to many of them. Today, Apsara Training Institute conducts more than 250 varieties of training projects. These projects help in the production of minimum of 5500 products (250 Training Projects x Minimum 20 Items). Most of the Skill Development training programmes were conducted in association with Govt Departments like Local Self Govts (LSGD) , SGSY, State Industries Department Govt. of Kerala, Directorates of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes Departments, State Forest Department, District Social Justice Department, State Kudumbashree Mission, State Bamboo Mission, Youth Welfare Board ans PSUs like Kerala Artisans Develpoment Corporation (KADCO), Kerala State Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO), Kerala State Folklore Academy, Kerala State Bureau of Industrial Promotion etc. Vocational training programmes were also conducted in Schools, Polytechniques, Arts and Science Colleges, Vocational Higher Secondary Schools etc. We have our own Craft Emporia / Marketing outlets at Pulapatta and Kanniyampuram, Ottapalam to market the products of SHGS, JLGs and NHGs promoted by us. Our Development strategy is to empower the vulnerable / less priviledged sections of the society by upgrading their skills through training and capacity building in the form of setting up of self-employment groups/ units.
