India is undergoing a revolution in the field of energy. Government of India has launched several programs to automate the Meter Data management System, enable energy audit and reduce the energy loss due to transmission and energy theft. EESL, IPDS and R-APDRP are some of these programs. Oracle has comprehensive utilities solutions to serve to large Public Sector undertakings. However, many of the previous implementations under these programs have not been highly successful due to lack of expertise in these product set. Abjayon Consultancy is started by ex-executives of Oracle India who used to run the India Development Center for Oracle Utilities products. More than 12 architects who designed and developed these Oracle Utilities products have joined Abjayon to provide successful implementation of these programs by Govt. of India. Knowing these products in and out, we bring innovative methods to implement. Within 6 months of incorporation, Abjayon has already grown from 0 to 40, and still growing based on the strong pipeline. Looking at the pipeline, our expectation is to grow to 100 employees by end of 2018. Abjayon Consultancy also has started business outside India. We already have signed implementation and support projects in US and Turkey. A number of opportunities is being worked upon in other parts of the world including middle east and EMEA. Abjayon is also engaged in development of next generation cruise product for a German customer Otalio. With the development center established in India, it will create job opportunities for the IT professionals.
