They suffer from a massive physical footprint, long process times, excessive noise, high capital and operational expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX), high sludge generation, and heavy power/manpower dependencies. Furthermore, diverse sectors—such as commercial laundries, hospitals, hotels, agricultural operations, and polluted natural water bodies—struggle with complex wastewater streams containing elevated level contaminants (like high BOD, COD, suspended solids, toxic organic pollutants, and oil-water emulsions) that pose severe public health risks and environmental hazards if left untreated
