AgHor Raitha Anvaya proposes to tackle the above problems in the agriculture production system by technology based solutions through mobile/web based applications. • To provide guidance and consultancy services for control of various pests & diseases, nematodes and weeds at reasonable costs to farmers. • To undertake regular visits, provide prescriptions/advice, respond to enquiries in case of need (like epidemics), as also undertake control operations at reasonable charges using their own equipment and inputs. • To undertake plant protection services as a package deal, from seed to harvest, with agreement with the farmers. • To create facilities for provision of technical guidance, to the agriculture/horticulture growers under a single roof. • To create additional job opportunities within the village itself to the unemployed Agriculture/Hort. Graduates. • To ensure easy availability of various horticultural inputs and technical/extension services to the orchardists / fruit growers to increase productivity. AgHor Raitha Anvaya proposes to connect farmers digitally to empower with right information at right time to address major issues related to input supply, production technology and market information. Digital tools will enable farmers to connect sustainable market linkages with processors and bulk buyers. The direct selling of agri produce to the processors or bulk buyers may reduce expenses and will give much better price to the producers. AgHor Raitha Anvaya digital solutions will enable farmers to save in terms of time, transaction costs, produce weight losses, direct sales, price fluctuations, transportation, quality maintenance etc. They may also facilitate trading on the digital platforms.
