Agroclone Techno, incorporated on 18/03/2025, is an early-stage venture conceptualized to operate within the agricultural value chain, with a core focus on agri-processing and value addition. This startup plans to procure raw agricultural commodities such as pulses, oilseeds, and cereals directly from farmers, agents, and brokers, aiming to improve traceability, ensure better price realization for producers, and build a more efficient and transparent supply chain. The proposed operations will focus on in-house processing of these raw materials using modern and semi-automated machinery, which will help maintain consistent product quality, hygiene standards, and operational efficiency. The processed outputs are planned to include edible oil, oilcake, maize oil, corn grit, fibre, and cattle feed powder. Unlike many regional players who depend on third-party oil mills, Agroclone Techno plans to establish its own in-house oil extraction facility. This approach is aimed at reducing contamination risks, minimizing transportation and commission costs, and maintaining better control over product quality. This startup also plans to use advanced machinery for manufacturing nutritionally balanced cattle feed, ensuring consistency and precision in formulation. A key highlight of the project is the setup of the first in-house maize oil extraction unit in the region, offering a strong competitive advantage. With a model focused on vertical integration, technology-driven operations, and direct farmer sourcing, Agroclone Techno aims to address inefficiencies in agri-processing while promoting sustainable, cost-effective, and scalable agricultural practices. The venture is currently in the ideation stage, with clear plans for future execution.
