Physiotherapy, when correctly and promptly practiced, can play a pivotal role in improving our quality of life. In India alone, 220M+ people suffer from musculoskeletal conditions that affect joints, bones, muscles and ligaments - conditions that can be treated successfully via online & offline physiotherapy sessions. The India opportunity is pegged at $5B and growing. More often, patients are unable to get treatment at the right time due to ignorance or reluctance to go to a doctor. We created Ahamyo with the noble goal of removing pain and immobility from people's lives. We realized a big gap between awareness and practical application of physical and mental health interdependency after years of experience and impacting so many lives. Ahamyo is composed of two words: Aham (I) and Myo(to return to life). Our goal at Ahamyo is to empower every girl and woman to relive their life by protecting their mind and body. Operating on a hybrid model, including teleconsultations and offline clinics, Ahamyo helps patients suffering from conditions like- paralysis, knee troubles, spine health, sports-related issues, post-surgery problems, and cancer rehabilitation among others. Ahamyo is a fusion of technology and physiotherapy to create awareness, offer reach and quality care, and ensure retention of patients. Dr. Shivani Tomar, Founder, Ahamyo care Pvt Ltd brings a deep expertise in successfully delivering pain relief to thousands of patients and spent several quarters in running offline centers to understand the core patient experience that is needed for delivering results -- along with the process and system for physiotherapists to follow to ensure clinical outcomes. With its unique way of treating people, Ahamyo is also creating a first-of-its-kind employment cum entrepreneurship opportunities for physiotherapists who can enroll with Ahamyo and offer online physical therapy sessions and create a consistent revenue stream for themselves. Ahamyo aims to empower 1000+ physiotherapists in the next 36 months.
