AKGEC Skills Foundation (ASF) is having most innovative concept to establish ‘Centres of Excellence (CoE)’ in multidisciplinary technologies. These CoEs are expected to conduct skill development training for students and up skilling training for Industry persons. The available state of art infrastructure will also be used to provide industrial services for meeting the specific needs of industry. The facility can be used to upgrade the product development capability of Industries and give solutions to face global competition for price and quality of product.The trainings offered at ASF is based on global didactic concepts and leads to Internationally valid Certification. ASF in collaboration with Industry Partners, offers Global Certification in the field of Automation/Robotics/Manufacturing/Fabrication for fresh and experienced industrial workforce.The concept of Global Certification Program (GCP) is widely used in U.S and Europe. The technology leaders e.g SIEMENS/KUKA/BOSCH/MITSUBISHI are having their worldwide operations. To meet the demand of trained manpower by their clients, The GCP are conducted in various countries duly endorsed by their subsidiaries for quality and uniformity across the globe. The trained manpower is duly awarded with Global Certification, accepted by many industries as a benchmark of quality skills in respective technology domains. In India, the GCP is expected to support ‘Make in India’ initiative, to provide quality manpower in high technology domains. These programs are presently conducted at ASF and having a strong possibility to spread across country through network of laboratories established at selected Institutions/Universities to meet local demand of quality manpower from user industries.
