Akshaya Green Energy Pvt Ltd is an innovative clean-energy startup focused on the production of Bio-Compressed Natural Gas (Bio-CNG) from organic waste, addressing two critical national challenges simultaneously: waste management and sustainable energy generation. Our innovation focuses on the integrated conversion of agro-waste, food waste, animal waste, and municipal organic waste into high-quality Bio-CNG using an optimized anaerobic digestion and advanced gas purification process. Unlike conventional small-scale biogas plants limited to captive consumption, our solution upgrades raw biogas into vehicle-grade Bio-CNG suitable for transportation, industrial heating, and commercial energy use. The core innovation lies in multi-feedstock flexibility, enabling different organic waste streams to be processed within a single system. Controlled digestion parameters and advanced purification technology significantly improve gas yield and methane concentration, ensuring consistent quality output. The modular and scalable plant design allows deployment across diverse settings—from small rural installations to large urban waste-processing facilities. A key sustainability feature is by-product valorization, where nutrient-rich digestate is converted into high-quality organic manure, strengthening sustainable agriculture and circular economy practices. The solution reduces landfill burden, greenhouse gas emissions, and dependence on fossil fuels, while generating local employment in waste collection, plant operations, and Bio-CNG distribution. Aligned with Government of India initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Mission, SATAT, National Bio-Energy Mission, and Net-Zero goals, Akshaya Green Energy Pvt Ltd’s innovation is designed for nationwide scalability, supporting clean mobility, energy security, enhanced farmer income, and India’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
