As my beautiful twins were prematurely born and spent months in the NICU, my husband and I have known firsthand the challenges of using the healthcare system for our children. The days immediately following birth were filled with love, sleep deprivation, and anxiety. And the added burden of repetitive visits to the doctor only added to our stress. We needed a simple way to keep track of our kids' healthcare reports and access all their healthcare history, including vaccination schedules, from a single reliable source. We also wanted a safe space to monitor their growth and celebrate every minor achievement until they could walk. When my husband and I moved to Bangalore from Delhi for better career prospects, it meant a new set of documents. It is natural for parents to experience fear and anxiety about their kids' growth, as they are often compared by their height, weight, diet, and so on. We tried Google Drive, but it was confusing to look for a specific file regardless of the type of files that had been uploaded previously. It almost felt like finding a needle in a haystack. That's when the idea for KidsCur was born. It was also born out of a mother's deep desire to not let other parents struggle just like she & her husband did. The unending number of additional documents with each visit to the doctor, not knowing the nearest best paediatricians and closest pharmacies for odd-hour medications, laid the basis for one of the many accessible features in the app. We've dedicated countless hours to developing an app with end-to-end encryption that safeguards your family's privacy. KidsCur is our way of giving back by helping others through their parenting journey and providing comfort by organising your child's health history in one safe place. What sets KidsCur apart is that it's led by parents who are deeply involved in the day-to-day workings of the brand and are dedicated to establishing KidsCur as a dependable online space for child healthcare with a wide range of services and solutions.
