Its patent-filed composite of bagasse fibre, natural starch and chitosan yields plates, bowls, trays, containers and cutlery that are heat-, microwave- and moisture-resistant and fully compostable within 45–90 days, at a validated manufacturing cost of ₹0.38 per unit. The company converts agricultural waste into a scalable, import-substituting alternative to single-use plastic, directly aligned with the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2021 and India’s circular-economy goals.
