Ancient Farmer Producer Company Limited is a farmer-led start-up established to improve the livelihood, income, productivity, and market access of farmers, particularly tribal, marginal, small, and women farmers. The company works towards strengthening the agricultural value chain by providing its members with better access to quality agricultural inputs, modern farming techniques, training, farm machinery, storage, processing, packaging, and marketing facilities. The start-up aims to reduce farmers' dependence on middlemen and enable them to receive better value for their agricultural produce through collective procurement, aggregation, value addition, branding, and direct market linkages. It also promotes sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture, natural farming practices, and the use of locally available resources. Ancient Farmer Producer Company Limited is developing an integrated agricultural ecosystem that supports activities such as crop production, horticulture, livestock-based livelihoods, processing of agricultural products, storage and cold-chain facilities, and market-oriented rural enterprises. Through collective action and technology-based solutions, the company seeks to create sustainable income and employment opportunities in rural and tribal areas. The start-up is committed to empowering women farmers and strengthening Farmer Producer Organisation-based entrepreneurship.
