The rapid adoption of electric vehicles is exposing a critical limitation in existing electrical infrastructure. Residential apartments, commercial buildings, and fleet operators often cannot deploy additional EV chargers because transformers and sanctioned electrical capacity become overloaded. Upgrading transformers is expensive, time-consuming, and frequently delays EV infrastructure deployment. Ninetynine labs is solving this challenge by building an intelligent energy management platform that enables more EV chargers to operate on existing electrical infrastructure. Our proprietary system continuously monitors transformer loading, building energy consumption, rooftop solar generation, battery storage, and EV charging demand in real time. Using adaptive control algorithms, it dynamically distributes power between the utility grid, battery energy storage, solar generation, and EV chargers. During peak demand, the platform intelligently supplements power from batteries to reduce transformer stress while maintaining charging performance. During periods of excess solar generation, it stores energy in batteries or exports surplus power to the grid, maximizing renewable energy utilization and reducing electricity costs. By transforming conventional electrical infrastructure into an intelligent, self-optimizing energy network, Ninetynine labs enables scalable EV adoption without expensive grid upgrades, while improving energy efficiency, grid reliability, and sustainability.
