Arcxon Automation Private Limited is building a non-invasive, retrofit-fit intelligence system for glass-container Individual Section (IS) machines — external sensors and edge AI that detect and pre-empt the failure modes causing thermal defects, mold damage, and unplanned downtime, without modifying a plant's existing PLC/SCADA systems. The system covers five monitoring domains: mold-temperature drift, deadplate condensation, lubricant swabbing (VOC/smoke), vibration-based predictive maintenance, and feeder health — the last a gap that persists even on brand-new IS machines, since the feeder (plunger, shear blades, orifice ring/tube) has no continuous, quantified monitoring in most Indian plants today. Since the first version of this plan, Arcxon has moved from a purely lab-validated position toward early traction: two Letters of Intent are signed with prospective pilot plants (one of which grants data-access rights for model training), and two provisional patent applications have been filed — VOC-SBDA (VOC-Based Swabbing Burn-Off Detection and Alerting) and FHIS (Feeder Health Intelligence System). The single most important near-term milestone is the first live instrumented data collection from a real IS machine section, which is the bridge from validation to traction and the primary use of the funding requested here.
