nowadays, the job market remains practically stagnant, more so in the organized sector. Sectors like Tourism & Hospitality, Agricultureetc. are the most trending sector. But there is a high gap between the demand and supply of the manpower in the industry. And this is due to the non-availability of skilled person. Therefore, by giving training to the unemployed youth in the organized sector, it ensure that the high gap will be restrained and there will be available skilled manpower in the sector. In order to capitalize the demographic dividend, we empower its workers with the right type of skills. Thus this section depicts the present skill levels of the workforce in the agegroup of 18-35 years in the form of their general educational levels and vocational training levels. However, in India a small portion of labour force is actually undergoing for formal training. It has been observed that there are more people than the available jobs at the low skills level, while there are more jobs at the high skills level than those available for such jobs. Therefore, in order to create a people-centric approach for skill development, the skill development initiatives is coordinated with demand and supply scenarios across geographies, industries and labour markets so that new skills required by industry or changes in supply of labour are speedily adjusted with adequate and efficient training programs. After taking training in the trending sector, ones can get placement in the well-known sectors and can get decent salary.
