At ARYA NIRMAN SHODH LLP, our core innovation lies in a patented 8-speed gearbox architecture that delivers a unique combination of high performance, fuel efficiency, and compact design. This gearbox offers the benefits of an 8-speed transmission—such as superior torque control, improved drivability, and increased fuel economy—while retaining the same weight, size, and number of parts as a traditional 6-speed manual gearbox. This breakthrough makes our technology innovative, as it re-engineers the core drivetrain mechanism without increasing production complexity or cost. Beyond its novelty, our gearbox also represents a significant improvement over current market solutions. Conventional multi-speed transmissions tend to be heavier, more expensive, and mechanically complex. In contrast, our gearbox is designed to be cost-effective, lightweight, and easier to manufacture and maintain. It is also compatible with both internal combustion engines and electric drivetrains, giving it versatility across vehicle types. In electric vehicles, it can improve range and torque delivery, while in ICE vehicles, it reduces CO₂ emissions per liter of fuel consumed—offering environmental and economic benefits for both manufacturers and end users. In terms of scalability, the solution has broad applicability across 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles. Our business model includes licensing the technology to OEMs, selling gearboxes directly to manufacturers, and offering drivetrain upgrade services for existing vehicles. In Phase 2, we plan to develop hybrid retrofit kits, further expanding our market reach to vehicle owners looking to upgrade older models.
