Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt Ltd, Manufacturing Unit situated at Plot No.21(P)/B), Hardware Park, Survey No.1/1, Situated at Kancha Imarat of Raviryala Revenue Village – 500005, Grampanchayat, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. It is a Joint Venture company formed between Astra Microwave Products Ltd, Hyderabad, India and Rafael Advanced Defence System Limited, Haifa, Israel, as per the Joint Venture Agreement dated on 10th March,2016. In accordance with the Joint Venture Agreement signed between the two companies, Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt Ltd, shall manufacture the following list of Defence Electronics Items based on Industrial Licence (No DIL:51(2018) granted by DIPP: 1. Tactical Radio Communication Systems. 2. Electronic Warfare Systems 3. Signal Intelligence Systems Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt Ltd, has established itself to work on future requirements of the Ministry of Defense, looking at opportunities for indigenous production and supply of strategic electronics in the form of systems, subsystems and components in the high technology domain of Tactical Communication Systems, Electronic Warfare and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT). Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt Ltd, focus will be in leveraging the technological ability and indigenous manufacturing capability of Astra Microwave Products Ltd combined with the state-of- the-art technology expertise of Rafael Advanced Defence System Limited to support the requirements of the Indian Armed Forces under the ‘Make in India’ Model.
