Helionis Labs is developing advanced thermal management substrates for high-power electronics and LED lighting. The company is building a novel Integrated Metal Substrate (IMS) technology based on in-house engineered dielectric materials and additive manufacturing processes. Unlike conventional MCPCB manufacturing that relies on laminate stacks, etching, and thermal interface materials, Helionis directly prints dielectric and conductive layers on aluminium heat sinks. This architecture reduces thermal resistance, simplifies manufacturing, and improves reliability for high-power applications such as automotive lighting, industrial luminaires, and other power-dense electronic systems.
