In their own words

Ateli is a Gurgaon-based, on-demand construction material sourcing and delivery platform focused on serving project managers, site supervisors, procurement teams, and MSME vendors within the construction and interior ecosystem. We operate as a fast procurement support layer for construction sites facing urgent or last-minute material requirements. Through a centralized coordination system, Ateli sources materials from verified local MSME stockists and delivers them to project sites within the same day, typically within 60–90 minutes. All transactions are GST-compliant, digitally documented, and structured to ensure payment clarity and operational transparency. Ateli does not manufacture materials nor replace existing vendors. Instead, we act as a demand aggregation and logistics bridge that connects active construction sites with nearby MSME suppliers, ensuring speed, reliability, and formalized procurement processes. Problem We Address The Indian construction ecosystem, particularly in urban clusters, frequently faces micro-level material disruptions such as unavailability of small quantities, urgent replenishments, vendor delays, or fragmented sourcing. These disruptions cause workflow interruptions, productivity losses, and cost overruns. Simultaneously, MSME vendors often struggle with: Slow inventory turnover Long credit cycles High dependency on relationship-based trade Limited digital integration with fast-moving project teams There is currently a gap between time-sensitive site demand and structured, reliable supply access. Impact We Aim to Create 1. Improved Site Productivity By ensuring rapid access to required materials, Ateli reduces downtime and prevents small procurement gaps from escalating into project delays. 2. Strengthening MSME Vendors We enable local stockists to increase inventory movement without additional marketing expenditure, while reducing exposure to long and uncertain credit cycles. 3. Formalization of Procurement Practices Through GST-compliant invoicing, digital coordination, and transparent transactions, Ateli promotes structured and compliant trade practices within the construction supply chain. 4. Enabling Speed-Driven Construction Ecosystem As project timelines compress in urban India, there is growing demand for certainty and reliability in material procurement. Ateli supports this shift by offering an organized, technology-enabled procurement interface for construction teams. 5. Local Economic Multiplier Effect By routing demand to nearby MSME suppliers, we strengthen regional supply networks and contribute to localized economic growth within Gurgaon. Vision To build a structured, technology-enabled procurement support system for the Indian construction industry that enhances efficiency, empowers MSME suppliers, and reduces friction in project execution. Ateli aims to evolve into a scalable model that can be replicated across urban centers, contributing to a more efficient, transparent, and resilient construction supply chain ecosystem in India.
