The ATRIUS Cardiac Care (ICC) is setting up Cardiac Centers, which provide quality cardiac care to a greater number of people. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have now become the leading cause of mortality in India. A quarter of all mortality is attributable to CVD. Ischemic heart disease and stroke are the predominant causes and are responsible for > 80% of CVD deaths. CVD has emerged as the leading cause of death in all parts of India, including poorer states and rural areas. Coronary heart disease prevalence rates in India have been estimated over the past several decades and have ranged from 1.6% to 7.4% in rural populations. The Company aim is to deliver niche service to the general public with specialized cardiac care in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company is in the process of setting up 8 cardiac center's. The objective is to have a flagship hospital in Gurgaon and a set of cardiac center's for treatments and tests in different tier 2-3 cities of India based on an association with a partner hospital in that city. A patient experience centre will be developed where a 3-D model of the patient’s angiogram will be presented. A provision of post-discharge care, remote monitoring and home care in Hospital. A fully Robotic Pharmacy is also in the plan, unlike the traditional pharmacies, here the robot is going to be efficient enough to dispense the medicines within 14 seconds. Facility of automatically changing the Patient room into an ICU service at the press of a button.
