In their own words
Our ‘Avani’ is a project that addresses the concept of Sustainable Organic Solid Waste Management. It is a For-Profit social enterprise that aims at achieving Net Zero Organic Waste by recycling the organic waste generated by Urban Bulk Waste Generators. Initially, we are concentrating on converting the floral waste generated at temples into handmade products. Avani's operations are based at Rajahmundry, concentrating on the organic waste being dumped into the river Godavari. Our project converts temple waste into Value-added products using an Integrated Resource Recovery Centre (IRRC) Approach, which is a technology-led waste management mechanism. When fully implemented, our project will contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 1. No Poverty 2. Zero Hunger 3. Good Health and Well-Being 5. Gender Equality 6. Clean Water and Sanitation 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth 11. Sustainable Cities and Communities 13. Climate Action 14. Life Below Water 17. Partnerships For The Goals Our primary objective is to solve the social problem of 'Organic Solid Waste Management' by creating social value and bringing social change and a friendly environment. Thereby creating livelihood opportunities for women through Self Help Groups. SHG Women, those who are interested in the processing of floral waste are employed for making handmade products from temple waste.

The neighbourhood
This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no funding signal of any kind
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
