Avocure is an interactive multi-sided platform meant to help patients make an informed decision for their treatment. One side of the platform - "Avocure for Patients" is meant for the patients to explore and get consultation and appointments and the other one - "Avocure for Providers" is meant for Medical & Wellness centres to manage their profile and patient queries. "Avocure for Patients" is where patients and their caretakers can gather information about different medical and wellness centres across different countries and then make an informed decision about where they can go for their treatment. If the patients are unsure about their medical condition and the risks involved, they can even avail a free online consultation from medical and wellness experts, and then finalise where to go for their treatment. Patients can further shortlist multiple options (medical or wellness) and get a treatment plan from each one, and easily compare the costs of treatment, doctor who will be treating them, their background, length of stay etc. to make their final decision. Once patients have finalised where they will be going for treatment, a dedicated relationship manager is assigned to the patients, who acts as the single point of contact for any sort of assistance - admission, claims for medical insurance cover, disputes while being treated, discharge, billing, follow-up with doctor/hospital, rehab/care-transition, and finally post-treatment medication. "Avocure for Providers" is where hospitals and wellness centres, after a stringent quality check, are allowed to be listed on the platform. They are able to manage their profile that is visible to the patients and respond to the incoming patient queries using the platform. Recently we have started tie-ing up with wellness centres (Ayurveda, Yoga etc.) across India - as of now around 15 tie-ups - helping patients with alternative forms of treatment, without any requirement for invasive surgeries. Along with that wellness centres further build the line for better care-transitions, for example a patient after chemotherapy session is drained out of energy, our wellness centres happen to provide a special treatment package, Ayurvedic Revitalisation & Strengthening Treatment, tailor made for such patients helping them with a speedy recovery.
