Axonwise Private Ltd. has been incorporated with mission " To enable India to lead the world in AI Adoption" under the brand Sarvam.ai. The company believes that AI is a deflationary force that has the potential to improve access to products and services by the citizens of India. Recent advances in Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Chat-GPT represent a step change in the capability of AI models and it is important that India has a deep technology company in this space. The company intends to do following business: 1. Train of large Artificial Intelligence (AI) models including foundation models in text, images, audios and to build a platform to deploy and serve (Software as a Service) large AI models for developers, startups and other companies. 2. Provide products and services to train large AI models with enterprise data and license these models to the enterprises and to improve enterprise AI models with data collected by enterprises while using the model. 3. Develop AI enabled applications by in-house or in partnership with other startups or enterprises, conduct conferences and educate developers to use AI platforms developed by the company. Axonwise is co-founded by Dr. Vivek Raghavan & Dr. Pratyush Kumar. Vivek is a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and M.S/Ph.D from CMU. He has founded multiple EDA startups globally and played Engineering roles for Synopsys/Magma. Vivek has been one the key technologists behind Aadhaar and Indian Stack. He has also been the mentor to the Nilekani Center @ AI4Bharat at IIT Madras and Chief AI evangelist at EkStep Foundation. Pratyush has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, Ph.D from ETH, Zurich and has worked at IBM Research, IIT Madras and Microsoft Research. He researches on AI and has 30 patents and 100 research publications to his credit. Axonwise is in the advanced stage of receiving a large round of seed funding from top tier VCs
