Since, the use of chemical pesticides and insecticides generates residues of environmental hazard and pesticides are detrimental for the environment and produce considerable damage to ecosystems. Insecticides and herbicides may be harmful for non-target species. Pesticides pollute air, water and soil. Carried by the wind, pesticide suspensions contaminate other areas. Pesticides affect considerably natural biological equilibrium. Pesticides diminish biodiversity, reduce nitrogen fixation, contribute to the disappearance of pollinators, threaten fish, and destroy bird and animal habitats. Pets may also become affected by strong pesticides. Particularities of working conditions expose some people to dangerous concentrations of pesticides. Farmers, pesticide applicators, veterinarians, forestry, horticultural, and park workers may contact with pesticides in their professional environment. Several millions of cases of pesticide poisoning are registered every year. Risks of poisoning depend on toxicity, dose, period of exposure, and sensitivity. Pesticides may cause neurological and psychiatric complications, brain tumors, cancers, spontaneous abortions, stillbirths, and birth defects. Pesticide exposure is damaging to the immune system. The endocrine system is particularly sensitive to pesticides. Many pesticides are endocrine disrupters and can produce detrimental effect upon hormonal balance of human body. Our product Crop-Defender is an herbal product and eco-friendly. Since, the use of chemical pesticides and insecticides generates residues of environmental hazard; but our product is a completely bio-degradable one. The resource plant is a weed and can easily be grown in bare lands. Due to their high growth rate they can be grown in short period of time and utilized as raw material for production of pesticide without any difficulties. Moreover, the expenses for generation of raw material are very low. Thus, our product shall help the farmers to protect their crops at low cost eco-friendly product thereby helping them to grow more crops per drop of water. It will also help them to protect the post harvest crop loss. Our product can mimic the activity of both pesticide and insecticide it will definitely be cheaper than the conventional pesticide and insecticide. So a farmer buys one product but gets the benefit of two different products at the same time therefore our product will fetch the market very soon. Our product had higher efficiency than other chemical and bio-pesticides which are available at market at present. Our product also has an additional advantage of being non-specific which means that it is not specific to a particular type of pest that means that it can be applied to all types of crops and it will attack most pests and it will provide an all round defense mechanism to our crops.
