? Indian Railways aims to be the engine for Indian economic growth and Development by being safe, financially viable, environment-friendly and caring for its customers and employees. It aims to provide safe travel by achieving a “Near Zero fatality” performance. ? Elastic railway Clips are used as fastener with concrete sleeper to fix rails tightly from both sides. The clips are made from spring steel by forging process and are manufactured by hot-forming, subsequently oil hardened and tempered to give uniform hardness across the section as per RDSO specifications, standards and guidelines. ? Elastic clips are consumable items because the clips loosen over time, sometimes come out of their jaws due to vibration. Indian Railways and sometimes Middle-East countries are continuous source of market for it. In times of slack demand, the capacity of the industry will be utilised for forged items for automobile, machinery manufacturing industries. ? The production capacity of the project will be 600 MT per year. The unit will be viable at 75% efficiency on single shift basis with six working days per week. In the project fixed capital investment of Rs. 137.56 lakh, Rs. 77.00 lakh for three months’ raw material and Rs. 5.00 lakh of monthly recurring expenditure will be made. The project will be funded as a startup proposal from bank finance. ? 31 personnel including six skilled workers, eight semi-skilled workers, one Lab Assistant, one metallurgical and one maintenance staff will be appointed to meet the needs of technical, mechanical and operational requirements.
